In Lowell, MA on the evening hours of June 26th 2006 long time Eternal Rollerz member Jose had his car broken into and several items were stolen from it. This saddens us all as members because Jose is a hard working parent of two children and has struggled to build his Cadillac. Jose has given his all in our efforts to reach out to the community and he was bitten by a bad member of the very community we support.

Jose's Cadillac had it's rear passenger window smashed in and the cowardly simple minded thief took Jose's blue plexi glass switch box and his car club plaque!!!!!

Now what the hell would someone do with a stolen Eternal Rollerz plaque? The car club plaque is symbolic of the dedication of each car club member. Not only did this thief steal from Jose but they stole from the entire club when they took the club plaque. This may be one of the most costly mistakes this stupid thief has ever made. An entire chapter of angry club members are looking for this person.

Aggressive efforts are being made to find out anything about the person responsible for the vandalism of Jose's Cadillac and the missing items. Flyers have been made and are being distributed throughout the greater Lowell area. Many stores and popular locations have a flyer in the window. Many random people on the streets have been approached by our members handing out flyers. We have notified all pawn shops in the area and we are watching sites like Ebay. A generous CASH REWARD has been offered by the members of Eternal Rollerz for any information leading to the individual responsible or the missing items. We feel someone knows who did it or can help us find the items. The generous bounty on the thief will get someone to talk.

JUSTICE FOR JOSE!

JUSTICE FOR ETERNAL ROLLERZ!

WE WILL NOT REST UNTIL THE PLAQUE IS RETURNED!

Massachusetts First "Circus Car"

Bringing lowriding to another level in the New England area has always been a goal of the MA Chapters of Eternal Rollerz. The car is a response to some talk on the Internet from others about hopping. Mark, Owen and Jay decided to build a car that the lowriders of Massachusetts have never seen before. It was time to make anyone who talked about hopping "Step Up" their game. The club's response to the talk online about hopping is the 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix you see above. This car is the first circus hopper in Massachusetts.

The project idea came to be around October of 2005. Jay talked to Owen about the idea of making a club vehicle. Owen and Jay teamed up with Mark and created the team needed to finish this enormous project. Owen knew of a old Pontiac sitting in a friend's yard just wasting away. After expressing interest in the car to his friend the Pontiac was in the car club's possession for free by January of 2006.

The first step on the car was building a battery rack and removing all the critical front end parts that needed to be modified. After a few weeks the rack was just about finished and the front end was put back together. The car was moved over to XTC (Extreme Truck & Car) in Framingham, MA where the frame was reinforced. After several weeks of deciding on a rear suspension type the three decided on a long arm type suspension with fixed short arms. This setup in the rear was simple and worked well. Our secret build was accidentally walked into by a member of another car club who works near the shop. But we respect that they didn't blow our cover online about the build up.

After finishing up the rear end the pumps were plumbed up and the batteries were wired up. After finishing the car it was moved back over to Mark's house where the batteries were charged just before the first event. The night before the event Tim from Sign Tech in Framingham, MA came and added our sponsorship vinyl and club graphics.

On June 4th 2006 the hopper was unveiled to other car clubs at the First Impressions BBQ. Mixed reactions were as expected at the event. The car's first test was at this event so no one knew what to expect. On a good note all the welds held up even as sloppy as they may look. The car was very solid in action hopping at the event. After making some phone calls and doing some research watching some Truucha videos the issues will be slowly adjusted until this car performs the way it should! No matter if they liked it or hated it at the event one truth remains, other people will build cars to compete against this vehicle. We know this car sent other car clubs scrambling into their work shops and garages to get something ready to nose up to us. So in reality it is bringing lowriding to a whole new level of excitement and competition in New England.

This car has been a challenging build for Owen, Mark and Jay as they had no other car locally to go by as a "template". We remind you this car is not a show car but it is a circus car that has been designed to hit some serious inches. Owen, Mark and Jay would like thank the many people who have helped support them and help lend a hand with the project. A special thank you goes to XTC, Sign Tech and Eternal Rollerz members world wide! They would also like to thank their significant others for putting up with the many weekends spent on finishing up the car. Thank you all for the support!!!!

We are proud to bring another first to Massachusetts!

NO PISTON PUMPS! NO WEIGHT!

Starting A Lowrider Association In New England

Talk of unity has been brought up many times in the news section. We feel the next step is actually working with other car clubs in the lowrider scene to improve the development of lowriding in New England. Everyone talks of unity but when it really comes down to it will you step up the plate? We all need to work together for the day we all can hang out at a show and not look segregated from each other as car clubs. By us all working together in a setting such as a lowrider association we all can get to know each other and build strong bonds through teamwork!

Lowriding has been in New England for more than a decade, slowly over the years it has became better in some ways and lacking in other ways. For lowriding to improve significantly in this region of the country it is going to take the efforts of many organized fellow lowriders. In other words it is time to step up the game! If no one makes any efforts to improve lowriding it will remain stalled where it is currently a decade from now in this region of the United States. Lowriding is no longer just about getting in your car and cruising, it is a multifaceted lifestyle that involves community, charities, positive press, and countless other activities. So whether you drove 400 miles to a car show or you wrote a letter to a state rep about some unfair legislation we all love the same thing! During 2005 LRM started looking at the New England riders and featured at least five issues mentioning various aspects of the movement in this region. More than ever we all need to improve the lowrider scene out here as they continue to look upon us. It's time wake up and think outside of our own car clubs and work all together as one united group. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Become part of lowriding history in New England.

It's not going to hurt anything to give it a try! If it didn't work out at least we can say we tried right?
